Citizen Science Corners are innovative, interdisciplinary integrations of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) into school libraries. This session explains how the implementation of a Citizen Science Corner has the potential to revolutionise your library space and create significant benefits for students. Participants will be given insight into how engaging and collaborating with science colleagues in your school might be some of the best collaborations they will ever experience.
This webinar will address the following AITSL teaching standard: Standard 6: Engage in professional learning with the specific focus on 6.2 Engage in professional learning and improve practice. Standard 7.4 Engage with professional teaching networks and broader communities.
This webinar will support the following ALIA Code of Ethics for the Australian School Libraries Clause 7: The library and information workforce has a crucial role to play in supporting the advancement of knowledge through literacy.
