To complete ‘Register Someone Else’ or ‘Register multiple contacts’ all registrants need to be included in your Institution Staff List, which can be found in your Institution Member Centre. Please refer to the Institution Handbook (available in Member Resource) for instructions on how to access your Institution Staff List (page 4) and add staff members (page 8).

Please note any recently added Institution Staff contacts can take up to 1 hour to be marked as an Institution Staff and receive member pricing. Please wait up to 1 hour before completing registrations for newly added staff.

Event Description 

School libraries have great potential to transform learning environments and create real change by empowering young people in their actions for sustainable development. Citizen Science Corners are innovative, interdisciplinary integrations of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) into school libraries. This session explains how the implementation of a Citizen Science Corner has the potential to revolutionise your library space and create significant benefits for students. Participants will be given insight into how engaging and collaborating with science colleagues in your school might be some of the best collaborations they will ever experience.

This webinar will address the following AITSL teaching standard:  Standard 6: Engage in professional learning with the specific focus on 6.2 Engage in professional learning and improve practice. Standard 7.4 Engage with professional teaching networks and broader communities.

This webinar will support the following ALIA Code of Ethics for the Australian School Libraries Clause 7: The library and information workforce has a crucial role to play in supporting the advancement of knowledge through literacy.
