The National Library and Information Technicians’ Symposium are joining forces with ALIA QLD LT Group this November for an event!

 

Thinking about preparing something to present at a conference but not quite sure how to do it?  Have you presented before but need to brush up your skills?  This event is for you!

 

ALIA Qld Group End of Year Christmas function

The ALIA Queensland Library Technicians’ Group invites all Library and Information Staff to join with us in celebrating Christmas.

 

The menu will be a plate drop of either "Philadelphia Chicken or the Beef Brisket Baguette", unless you need other dietary needs, please advise me when you respond.

ALIA HLA: Advanced Searching workshop (Brisbane)

ALIA HLA will be hosting this full day workshop which will be presented by Carol Lefebvre from the UK.

This full day session will provide opportunities to learn new techniques, to discuss best approaches, to share insights and to assess variations in current best practice. The workshop will be facilitated by Carol Lefebvre who is experienced in literature searching to inform systematic reviews and HTAs and in conducting research into the evidence base for information retrieval.
