Tuesday 7 November 2017, Canberra: New JALIA online-only access member price.
Our journals have been green open access since 2013, and from 2018 there will be even more ways to read the Journal of the Australian Library and Information Association (JALIA) for free or at a modest cost.
New for 2018 we are able to offer a special concession to all ALIA Personal Members. You can receive online-only access to all four issues of the 2018 volume of JALIA for just $39.60. Any ALIA Members who would like to take up this offer please email (email@example.com). Non-ALIA Members can view our membership information here.
Personal Members of ALIA are also entitled to:
- A 30% discount off the Australian recommended retail price of any books published by Taylor & Francis.
- A discounted print subscription to JALIA of $119.90 a year for those based in Australia, or $160 a year for those outside Australia. To take up this offer, please contact Taylor & Francis directly via email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
JALIA is available through ALIA Institutional Member libraries, which receive a copy as part of their membership package. The Journal is also held in 20,000 libraries across the globe which subscribe to Taylor and Francis’s information science publications.
Green open access for JALIA means that authors may post their Author Accepted Manuscript on their institutional repository with zero embargo (see here) and each volume is accessible free of charge on the Taylor & Francis website three years after it is initially published.
If you have a research article or scholarly paper you would like published in JALIA please contact the editors at (email@example.com). All Research and Research-in-Practice articles in JALIA undergo double-blind peer review. Information-in-practice papers undergo editorial screening.
