Shortlist - Library Design Awards

 

Monday 22 May 2017, Canberra: The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) has announced the shortlist for the inaugural Library Design Awards 2017.

The Australian Library Design Awards have been created to showcase the best in contemporary library interiors and exteriors in Australia, and to celebrate the investment in libraries made by our nation's institutions, corporations, local, state and territory governments.

The winners will be announced at the ALIA Library Design Conference at Library at the Dock, Melbourne, on Monday 19 June.

Thirty-three stunning libraries have been entered for the inaugural Australian Library Design Awards 2017. Public, school, academic and special libraries all feature in the entries.

The shortlist in each category is:

School libraries

St Andrew's Anglican College Learning Hub

St Joseph’s Nudgee College, Hanly Learning Centre

St Stephen's School Junior School Library - Duncraig Campus

Academic libraries
