ALIA URLs cordially invites you to our first lunchtime talk for 2016! This talk will focus on three special libraries in the ACT - St Mark's National Memorial Library, the National Sport Information Centre and the Alexander Maconochie Centre Library. The ACT is lucky enough to have many libraries and collections, but often we don’t get the chance to see or hear about them. Please come along and learn more about these special libraries, their collections, services and clients.
Our speakers will be Susan Phillips, Library Manager at St Mark’s, Christine May, Librarian at the National Sport Information Centre, and Sue Lavery and Jess Begley, formerly of the Alexander Maconochie Centre Library.
Date: 16th March 2016
Place: Sulman Room, St Mark’s National Theological Centre
Getting there: https://goo.gl/maps/HjcpqFQu3vN2 Come through the boom gate, it is the 2nd boom gate on the left side of Blackall St entering from Kings Avenue. St Mark’s staff will leave the boom gate up, but if it’s down please use the buzzer and let them know you’re here for the talk.
St Mark’s is the old building surrounded by shrubbery at the far end of the carpark – with front entrance. The Sulman Room is just inside the foyer.
