Health Libraries Australia (HLA) are holding their Professional Development Event for 2019 at Monash University, Caulfield Campus, Melbourne on Thursday and Friday the 18th and 19th July. We would like to acknowledge our hosts – Tomas Zahora and his team at Monash University, Caulfield.

ALIA Hunter will be holding a social event playing lawn bowls on Saturday the 30th or March at Club Charlestown. Lawn bowls is free and begins at 1pm. As an option, you may join us for lunch at the club at midday, though you are most welcome to arrive at 1pm for bowls only. Partners, family and friends are welcome though please advise us if you are bringing additional people. Join the WA ALIA Students and New Graduates Group for drinks at our first social event of the year.
The next Connect and Chat event for ALIA CRR (Canberra and Region Retirees) Group will be held from 11am on Wednesday 6 March at Bookplate, NLA.
This is a regular monthly meeting of retired library people from the ACT and surrounding regions to get together and keep in touch post-retirement. Anyone from further afield who is in Canberra on the day is most welcome. This is a very casual and relaxed group, no need to book, come for coffee or lunch or both.
