ALIAVic Bendigo Tour

ALIAVic is coming to Bendigo!

 

On Saturday March 21st, ALIAVic invites you to come to Bendigo to explore some of the city's cultural institutes including Bendigo Library, the Art Gallery, Golden Dragon Chinese Museum, and the Soldiers' Memorial Institute Military Museum.

 

WHEN: Saturday March 21st, 11:00am to 4:00pm approximately; option to stay for the weekend

WHERE: Bendigo

 

Train groups and carpools can be arranged for participants travelling from Melbourne.

 

ALIA CRR (Canberra and Region Retirees) Connect and Chat- CANCELLED

PLEASE NOTE: The first event on Wed 5 February has been CANCELLED.  The next event will be held in March 2020.

 

The first 2020 ALIA CRR (Canberra and Region Retirees) Connect and Chat Event will be held on Wednesday 5 February 2020.

 

We will meet at the Portrait Cafe, National Portrait Gallery from 11am for coffee and/or lunch.

 

Connect and Chat provides an opportunity for library people to keep in touch post retirement and we welcome established and recent retirees and those aspiring to retiree to come along.

 

ALIA Tas Event 11 December- Highlights National Library and Information Technician Symposium 2019 and End of Year Celebratio

ALIA Tas and the Guilford Young College Library invite library and information professionals and students (ALIA members and non-members) plus those interested in working in our industry, 

to learn about the highlights of the National Library and Information Technician Symposium plus celebrate the end of 2019.

 

 

ALIA CRR (Canberra and Region Retirees) Connect and Chat

The last Connect and Chat for 2019 will be held on Wednesday 6 November at Bookplate, National Library of Australia from 11am.

Connect and Chat is held once a month February to November, with a summer break over December and January. ALIA CRR (Canberra and Region Retirees) provides a casual opportunity for all who worked in the library sector in the ACT and surrounding areas to keep in touch post work. Come along for coffee and/or lunch.

Interstate and overseas visitors are always welcome.
