Digital Experience Analyst

Library Services

The USQ Library provides a supportive, connected and intuitive experience that enables our students to achieve success in their careers, while assisting our staff to realise their potential as world-class teachers, researchers and professionals.  Ensuring that students and staff have a positive digital experience is at the forefront of our approach.

As a Digital Experience Analyst, you will play a critical role in gathering and analysing evidence to improve the Library’s services and provide users with world-class access to library related digital information.

You will work with a variety of systems to develop, test, analyze and maintain USQ’s Library collections while undertaking system reviews; advising on interoperability with Library resources and running and analysing system reports and analytics. You will also work with external vendors to troubleshoot issues with our cloud-based systems and ensure the Library’s website is accessible and responsive to meet user needs.

Working in a small team under the direction of the Manager (Digital Experience), this position provides a great opportunity for you to apply your digital experience expertise to critically analyse and identify technological needs and gaps and develop creative solutions to improve user engagement with Library resources.

You will demonstrate innovative problem solving skills, be adept in working with large and complex software applications and databases, preferably in an academic library context and enjoy working across a variety of work projects.  Key to your success will be your highly developed interpersonal skills, coupled with your service-oriented approach and ability to build valued partnerships with internal and external client groups.
