This position manages and co-ordinate the work of a small Digitisation and Visual Media team, which is responsible for the digitisation of a wide variety of complex library materials within set timeframes and output targets and standards, provision of corporate photography and videography services, as well as supporting digital engagement activities and initiatives of the Library.
The occupant must be able to adapt to changing work priorities arising from different work streams and respond creatively to challenges. The occupant of this position will provide high level professional and administrative advice to senior management and contribute to the management of the Library’s digital reproduction activities, systems and equipment. Close collaboration and negotiation skills with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders will be critical for this position.
Positions at this level of work require a sound understanding of digitisation processes, technical knowledge, well-developed communication skills, supervisory skills and the ability to exercise initiative. The role in providing corporate photography and videography may require travel and out-of-hours work.
