Statement of professional concerns:

As a Board member Emily will focus on best practice and innovation: concentrating on fair access to resources; helping people develop the capacity to use information effectively; development of life literacies; the preservation of information to ensure ongoing access for future generations; and the sustainability of our professional association.  She is an advocate for inclusive leadership and the role of libraries in promoting social justice-- through their collections, services, spaces, displays, events and community connections.
