Groups in SA
The ALIA SA Group is a newly-revived, cross-sectoral group for all information professionals and GLAM members in South Australia. It is a forum for members to discuss events, take part in professional development activities and network with like-minded people within the state and regional areas close to the border.
The ALIA Specials SA Group provides professional development and networking opportunities to professionals and students in special libraries in South Australia. It fosters the exchange of ideas among special libraries, and with those working in allied professional fields of information services.
ALIA also has a number of National Groups.
Are you a student or new graduate?
If you are a student or if you graduated in the last couple of years why not join the Students and New Graduates (SNG) community? The ALIA SNG Group facilitate networking for the new generation of library professionals, provide a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to new professionals, organise meetings and training specifically relevant to students and new graduates and facilitate the introduction of new graduates into the wider ALIA community. For more information get in touch with our SNG SA Regional Coordinator, Anna Kovac!
