The Journal of the Australian Library and Information Association (JALIA) Editorial Board is seeking expressions of interest from ALIA Members to join the Board, with particular encouragement for those with research and professional experience in the school and public library sectors.
JALIA is the flagship journal of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). It is a quarterly publication for library and information science researchers, information professionals, related disciplines and industries. The Journal aims to stimulate discussion and inform practice by showcasing original peer reviewed research articles and other scholarly papers about, or relevant to, the Australian and Southern Asia Pacific regions. All Research and Research-in-Practice articles in JALIA undergo double-anonymised peer review. Information-in-Practice papers undergo editorial screening.
Editorial Board members offer their expertise and experience in guiding the journal’s editorial policies and strategies. Board members also help promote the journal within the academic, research and professional communities and contribute to peer and book review processes. The JALIA Editorial Board aims to represent the various sectors of the LIS research and practice and seeks to replace two recent resignations.
