ALIA, in conjunction with the Australian Citizen Science Association (ACSA) has received funding from the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR) to support the establishment of Citizen Science Corners in 100 libraries across Australia. ALIA and ACSA are now seeking Expressions of Interest from libraries who want to host a Citizen Science Corner.
To support Expressions of Interest we held an information session, Introduction to Citizen Science in Public Libraries Workshop where Dr Bridie Schultz from ACSA and Trish Hepworth from ALIA ran through everything you need to know about applying for and creating a Citizen Science Corner in your public library.
