Create online during Library and Information Week 2020

Canberra, 15 May 2020:The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is calling for library and information professionals to show off their creative side during Library and Information Week 2020 (LIW 2020).

Sue McKerracher ALIA CEO says ‘the theme for LIW 2020 is Create, and although the week will be celebrated wholly online, we want to see everyone’s creative displays and events. Maybe your library is hosting a special virtual storytime, trivia night or book club meeting, however you’re spending the week we want to hear about it’.

To help everyone celebrate, ALIA has created free downloadable resources and suggested activities which can be found on the ALIA website. Remember to post your photos on social media using #LIW2020 or email us at [email protected].
