The Gold Coast Library Network connects staff from all libraries across the Gold Coast region, including school, public, university, TAFE and specialist libraries. The network provides a platform for library practitioners in the region to network, attend social events and participate in professional development opportunities. Given the region's size and geographical location, library staff from bordering areas (e.g., Northern New South Wales) are also most welcome to participate. Our primary focus in to build connections between libraries and library staff in order to create a strong and connected community of library practitioners in the region. Both members and non-members of ALIA are equally welcome to join and participate in activities.
