Library and Information Services Workforce Advisory Committee (LISWAC)

The LISWAC is a cross-sectoral advisory committee that advises the ALIA Board on matters relating to the LIS workforce, including:

  

  • Trends and emerging issues for the LIS workforce 
  • The ALIA Framework of Skills, Knowledge and Ethics for the LIS Workforce (the Framework)including review  
  • The annual LIS workforce survey 
  • Trends and emerging issues for LIS education 
  • Other matters as requested
