Research shows that wellbeing has a positive impact on successful learning. The school library is a place for learning as well as a place for recreation. So why is the school library so involved in providing a welcoming, safe and positive learning environment for students? What programs and services are provided by the school library to ensure that all students thrive as learners?
Join ALIA Schools for their first webinar for 2023 to explore answers to these questions. Presenters Madison Dearnaley, Information Services Teacher Librarian at St Paul's School, Strathpine, Queensland and Natasha Lee, Teacher Librarian at Cooranbong Public School, NSW will share how they embrace wellbeing within their school library context.
This webinar is for primary and secondary teacher librarians and others involved in or supporting learning, teaching, and wellbeing programs within a school library context.
