About ALIA Information Online Conference

ALIA information Online provides the platform as a meeting point for the library and Information industry across Asia-Pacific. This year’s conference, Transformation & Disruption, will take place virtually on Tuesday, 18 March, Wednesday, 19 March, and Thursday, 20 March 2025. Each day will cover a specific theme for discussion: Indigenous Knowledges, Greening GLAMR, and AI and the Future of Library Technology. Attendees have the flexibility to attend any number of days that interest them and will have access to the conference recordings for six months.

The conference provides unparalleled opportunities to become stronger as professionals and as an industry with engaging programs and a forum to collaborate, network and build partnerships amongst our colleagues, peers, industry leaders and corporate partners. The conference attracts over two thousand influential professionals from all sectors of the library industry.

The conference program has a multi-sector focus and provides a unique opportunity for organisations to promote and showcase their products and services to a targeted and influential delegate group. Information Online gives access to key library and information service professionals from Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific, and beyond. The event will bring the same opportunities to connect, learn, be inspired, and inspire others that Information Online has been delivering since 1990, just in a reimagined way.

Full Conference Member Price (includes personal members and institutional staff members): $400

Full Conference Non-Member Price: $500

One Day Member Price (includes personal members and institutional staff members): $150

One Day Non-Member Price: $200

Two Day Member Price (includes personal members and institutional staff members): $275

Two Day Non-Member Price: $375

Exclusive to ALIA Institutional Members:

Institutional Member 5-Viewer Price: $1,800
Institutional Member 10-Viewer Price: $3,500
Institutional Member Unlimited Viewer Price: $6,000

With the institutional multi-viewer registration, you only need to purchase the required multi-viewer registration once, and not for each staff member you would like to have attend. Once you have completed the registration, we require an email to be sent to [email protected] with the list of the staff you would like to attend the conference (first name, last name, email address), and those staff receive a unique link to access the conference. This list is not due until 14 March 2025 (you can of course send it earlier if you have the list ready).

Where

The conference will take place on the virtual platform Zoom Events. A couple of days prior to the conference you will be given access to your virtual profile.

When

The conference will take place Tuesday 18, Wednesday 19, and Thursday 20 March 2025. If you are unable to attend any sessions at their scheduled time, recordings will be available post-event.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for cancellations to your registration must be submitted in writing to ALIA.

Cancellations received by

21 February 2025 will receive a full refund,
7 March 2025 will receive a refund less 20% of your total registration charge
No refunds will be given after 7 March 2025.

Registrations can be transferred to other individuals at no cost (in the same registration category) prior to the start of the conference.
