Mia Turner
With experience in the higher education industry, Mia received the opportunity to take on the project officer role in the Student Learning Hub. Her combination of experience in customer-focused initiatives and developed fine arts practice, provided strong foundations for a project focused on the development and improvement of student user experience and human centered design. Not long after settling into her new role the project was forced to pivot online and the service delivery needed to be redesigned to transmit in the new online space. The combination of a strong background in operating face to face services and a creative approach to problem solving, Mia has developed initiatives, engagements and an online student support program with a focus on student collaboration and has brought these expertise to her new role as UTS Library's Engagements and Exhibitions Curator.
