Margot Riley

Margot Riley has worked in cultural institutions across NSW since 1988, and for over 20 years at the State Library of NSW. She contributes expertise across a variety of collection functions including research, acquisition and interpretation. She has curated numerous exhibitions and displays and was lead curator, with co-curators Ronald Briggs and Bruce Carter, on the Library's 2020/1'Coming Out in the 70s' exhibition. Margot is a cultural historian with a special interest in lifestyle and popular culture, photography and dress, and has written and lectured extensively.
