Kay Pisel
Kay Pisel has several years' experience in public library management and as a teacher librarian in the education sector. In her current role as the Home Library Service Team Leader at Newcastle Region Libraries, Kay's focus is in developing a library service that meaningfully engages with older members of the community. Kay has presented at past Northern Territory Library Symposiums, has delivered book talks as a judge on the Children's Book Council of Australia and several workshops as an educator. She has completed online learning with the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre at the University of Tasmania as a foundation to create the dementia programs offered by Newcastle Libraries.
