Elham Hafiz

Elham is a Medical Science Honours student researching accessible teaching and inclusivity in science. In 2019, she codesigned and cofacilitated the Inclusivity experiment at the spark festival, and is now an inclusivity fellow UTS Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion, working with Education and Industry experts to understand and implement inclusive practices in the respective fields. Elham has presented at the UTS Teaching and Learning Forum and several UTS First and Further Year Experience (FFYE) as part of the Welcome and Belonging project advocating for students, students as partners, inclusive science curricula and belonging in an online world. Elham has compiled a faculty guide for inclusive teaching as part of her Developing Inclusive Science Curricula Internship in her first year of university, and has been involved in projects as a student advocate since.
