Bethlehem Mekonnen
Bethlehem is a medicinal chemistry honours student researching access to high quality work integrated learning in science. She is an inclusivity fellow with UTS Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion, working alongside a group of experts to enhance and implement more inclusive and diverse practices. She has presented at the ASCME, UTS Teaching and Learning Forum and several UTS First and Further Year Experience (FFYE) webinars highlighting topics of student engagement, students as partners, inclusive science curricula and belonging in an online world. Similarly, Bethlehem has worked one several wide scale university projects, tackling issues of belonging.
