Antonia Mocatta

Dr Antonia Mocatta is the Director of the Central Services Division at the University of Sydney Library, leading the Library's budget management, strategy implementation, analytics and reporting, process optimisation, quality and compliance, and project management. Part of her role involves the delivery of diversity and inclusion initiatives; a lifelong career focus. Recent work has included leading the Library's diversity and inclusion strategic priorities, spanning four focus areas: the development and implementation of the University of Sydney Library Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Protocols; establishment of the Library's LGBTQIA+ Ally Group; formation of the Library's Disability Inclusion Action Planning Group; and leading a review of Library supports for international students. Antonia has more than 15 years of experience in senior management roles in the higher education sector. She was previously the Chief Operating Officer for a group of private, creative media colleges in Australia and New Zealand. She joined the University of Sydney Library in 2016 as Associate Director Quality, Innovation and Planning, before becoming the Director Central Services in 2020.
