Alison Jones
Alison Jones recently joined Atlassian in the new role of Senior Research Librarian. Atlassian is an Australian based global software company creating software, such as Jira and Confluence, to unleash the potential of every team. Alison is working with the Research Team and researchers across Atlassian to ensure that research reports and a wide range of associated materials are captured, classified and therefore available for reuse by everyone at Atlassian via a digital Research Library.
Prior to joining Atlassian, Alison was the Knowledge Manager with Geoscape, a government-owned locational data company. She created the organisation's Intranet to enable Geoscape to systematically store and provide access to documentation and worked alongside staff to help record their knowledge of their work. Previously, Alison was the inaugural Library Manager and Knowledge Manager with Meyer Vandenberg, a Canberra law firm. In 2015, she was honoured to be awarded the Australian Law Librarians' Association's Law Librarian of the Year.
