The ALIA Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in May. Standard items considered at the AGM include:
Annual report including the financial report.
President and Chief Executive Officer reports.
Auditor's report and confirmation of the auditor for the following year.
Confirmation of the election of Directors.
Procedures for calling and running general meetings are set out in the Constitution of the Association and the Corporations Act.
An agenda is made available prior to each AGM and provides information on where and when the meeting will be held and the matters to be discussed.
If members are unable to attend an AGM, but still wish to vote on an issue to be discussed, they may nominate a proxy using an electronic proxy form provided for each meeting.
Members are also able to attend the AGM via teleconference or other electronic means as advised in advance by the ALIA team.
