2021 annual general meeting
The Annual General Meeting of Members of the Australian Library and Information Association Limited (ALIA) was held on Monday 24 May 2021. Due to precautions associated with COVID-19, Board members attended the meeting held at ALIA House, while Members were able to join the meeting over the Zoom platform.

The ALIA Annual General Meeting is held in May.
Standard items considered at the AGM include:
Annual Report including the financial report
President and Chief Executive Officer reports
Confirmation of election of Directors.
Procedures for calling and running general meetings are outlined in the ALIA Constitution and the Corporations Act.
An agenda is made available prior to each AGM and provides information on where and when the meeting will be held and the matters to be discussed including any special business such as amendments to the Constitution.
ALIA Members may be able to attend the AGM via webinar or other electronic means as advised in advance by the ALIA team.
If Members are unable to attend the AGM in person (including via the webinar) but would like to vote on an issue to be discussed, they may nominate a proxy using the form provided for each meeting.
