2019 Annual general meeting
The 2019 ALIA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Tuesday 21 May 2019.
A detailed meeting agenda will be made available in April.
2019 constitution amendment
At the 2019 Annual General Meeting, Members will be asked to consider and vote on a number of amendments to the ALIA Constitution. The most significant of these changes relates to the length of term served by the ALIA President.
We would welcome feedback about the amendments by Friday 1 March 2019.

The ALIA Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in May.
Standard items considered at the AGM include:
Annual report including the financial report.
President and Chief Executive Officer reports.
Auditor's report and appointment or confirmation of appointment of the auditor fo the following year.
Confirmation of the election of Directors.
Procedures for calling and running general meetings are outlined in the ALIA Constitution and the the Corporations Act.
An agenda is made available prior to each AGM and provides information on where and when the meeting will be held and the matters to be discussed.
If Members are unable to attend an AGM but still wish to vote on issues to be discussed, they may nominate a proxy using an electronic proxy form provided for each meeting.
ALIA Members are also able to attend the AGM via teleconferce or other eletronic means as advised in advance by the ALIA team.
