ALIA Schools - Be the change: Promoting cultural change in your library

This ​morning ​seminar ​is ​for ​primary ​and ​secondary ​teacher ​librarians ​and ​others ​who ​are ​responsible ​for ​school ​library ​services. ​Continual ​improvement ​is ​at ​the ​heart ​of ​how ​schools ​operate ​today. ​Identifying ​how ​school ​libraries ​can ​establish ​a ​cycle ​of ​continual ​improvement ​will ​be ​explored. ​Sessions ​will ​include ​keynote ​addresses, ​panel ​session ​and ​workshop.

Skool Library Trek with VIC LT's

The day long coach trip will focus on the work in school libraries. The programme includes visits to Hume Libraries’ award winning Craigieburn branch and Mercy College’s Information Centre, plus another site to be confirmed. Be aware that numbers are limited, so you will need to be quick when online registration is opened.

Tex and the city lunch

All library folk are welcome to come along to a networking lunch at Father’s Office, 249 Little Lonsdale Street. Check out http://fathersoffice.com.au/ (lunch and drinks are at the delegates’ own expense). So if you are working in the Melbourne cbd or want to take a break from shopping at the summer sales, come and join us for lunch.

ALIA student and new grads (VIC) end of year celebration

Well the festive season is upon us again (time really does fly), and so it's time to celebrate...eat, drink and eat some more!

The Vic ALIA students and new grads group is celebrating with a picnic in the Royal Botanical Gardens and we'd love you to join us.
