This afternoon seminar is for primary and secondary teacher librarians and others who are responsible for school library services and/or engaging students in reading and developing a love of literature. This morning seminar is for primary and secondary teacher librarians and others who are responsible for school library services. Continual improvement is at the heart of how schools operate today. Identifying how school libraries can establish a cycle of continual improvement will be explored. Sessions will include keynote addresses, panel session and workshop.
HLA will be holding our first PD Day for 2015, with 2 workshops run by Julie Glanville from the University of York, UK.
DATE: Wednesday 1st April
The day long coach trip will focus on the work in school libraries. The programme includes visits to Hume Libraries’ award winning Craigieburn branch and Mercy College’s Information Centre, plus another site to be confirmed. Be aware that numbers are limited, so you will need to be quick when online registration is opened.
