ALIA Board election results 2018

Wednesday, 18 April 2018, Canberra: The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) would like to thank all our Members who participated in the 2018 ALIA Board election process. There was a great turnout this year with 34% of eligible ALIA Members casting a vote.

All the votes have now been counted and we are pleased to announce that Helen Ebsworth and Paula Kelly Paull have been elected as Directors while Monika Szunejko has been re-elected to the ALIA Board as the Institutional Director.

Robert Knight has also previously been declared elected as the incoming Vice-President (President-elect).

More information about the successful candidates can be found on the ALIA website. The new Directors will take up their positions at the ALIA Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 15 May 2018.
