New ALIA Mentoring Scheme intake open

Monday, 08 January 2018, Canberra: ALIA is pleased to announce that the second intake of the ALIA Mentoring Scheme commences on 8 January 2018. The ALIA Mentoring Scheme is an opportunity for ALIA to support members seeking a formal structured mentoring relationship. Applicants – both to be a mentee and a mentor – are required to complete an application form which ALIA will use to match mentees and mentors. Applications close 9 February 2018.

ALIA is currently looking for experienced LIS professionals to volunteer as mentors and upcoming LIS professionals to become mentees for the second intake of the scheme. ALIA will provide continuing support to mentors and mentees over the 12 months of the scheme. Please visit alia.org.au/mentoring to find out more.
