Canberra, Monday 10 July, 2017: The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) is promoting a global discussion about how libraries can meet the challenges of the future.
There have been six workshops around the world, and there will be an opportunity for everyone to participate through an interactive online voting platform to be launched in August.
At the same time, ALIA is running a survey to collate the views of people in the Australian library sector so that our national perspective can be fed into the discussion. This is the link to the survey, which will be open until close of business on Friday 1 September: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/IFLAGlobalVisionAustralia.
Please fill in the survey (it should only take 10-15 minutes) and make sure your views are heard.
Find out more from the IFLA Global Vision discussion website. IFLA is encouraging participants to use social media and to tag posts with #iflaGlobalVision.
