Rockdale Library Tour and celebration of National Library Technicians Day

The ALIA NSW LT Group is having a library your of the new Rockdale Library.

 

Date: Tuesday, 23rd of May, 2017 at 6.30pm.  
Venue: 444-446 Princes Highway, Rockdale NSW 2216.  (https://library.rockdale.nsw.gov.au/Montage/Default.aspx
You can get there by car and is walking distance from Rockdale Station.

Some features are :-

  • Integration of the old and new buildings enabling large open spaces and natural light
  • 2200 square metres of usable space spread over 3 levels
  • Info Zone Pod that embraces openness, allowing staff to rove the floors and assist our community wherever they are in the library
  • Children’s reading forest with hideaway spots and nooks to crawl into.

If you want to know more about the new Rockdale Library, please pencil the date in and come and join us.  We will be meeting in the foyer of the library.

It is also held on National Library Technicians Day, so we will be celebrating it at the new Rockdale Library and having dinner at venue nearby.  More information will be announced very soon.
