International Librarians Network (ILN) presentation by Kate Byrne and Clare McKenzie

The International Librarians Network (ILN) peer mentoring program was the brainchild of Kate Byrne, Alyson Dalby and Clare McKenzie and ran continuously from 2013 to 2016.

During that time more than 5,500 library and information professionals from over 220 countries participated in a facilitated program aimed at helping librarians develop international networks.

Join us to hear from Kate and Clare as they give us a ‘warts and all’ look into what it’s like to build and run a professional development program on this scale – and what it takes to shut down something that is running so successfully. This is a rare opportunity to have some of the ILN founders together as two of the three are currently living overseas.
