Are you trying to get started in the library and information world? Are you a student or recent graduate wanting to make contacts, volunteer and land yourself in employment?
If you have questions, we have the answers. At this interactive panel session, three professionals with vast experience in hiring library workers will share their tips for resume writing, job interviews and making yourself attractive to employers.
Venue: Ira Raymond Room (directly opposite the main bridge entrance to the Barr Smith Library) at the University of Adelaide, North Terrace (between Kintore Avenue and Frome Road)
Date: Thursday 27th October
Time: 5.45pm for a 6.00pm start. Event ends 8.00pm
Ticket prices: free for members, $5 non-members
We will be serving light refreshments to provide you with the energy to network after the discussion!
If you can't make it in person, we'll also be streaming the discussion live on Facebook.
This event is organised by ALIA SA, ALIA Students and New Graduates and SALIN, three volunteer groups that aim to connect library and information professionals and promote our industry in South Australia.
