The International Edible Book Festival, held over many years by the Vic Specials group, is the one day of the year where our inner bakers and Masterchefs are revealed and revered. Over the years there have been some amazing creations, covering the classics (Green Eggs and Ham, the Hungry Caterpillar, Cloudstreet, Charles Dickens), to the more contemporary (50 Shades of Grey), to the downright zany (remember the KFC tub?).
We’re doing it again this year and look forward to your participation. If you can’t cook/bake, don’t worry, just come along for some library networking and food and wine appreciation.
If you would like to attend this event please drop me a line (Emerald: firstname.lastname@example.org) to tell me you are coming, and if you are intending to submit an entry please also let me know so we have enough tables.
We look forward to seeing you there. Librarians and edible book lovers all welcome!
