Systematic reviews are becoming common practice across a range of disciplines, including health, business and pscyhology, and require advanced search skills and knowledge to deliver quality results across complex topics.
This presentation delivered by Samantha Blake (Senior Librarian, UWA) will look at the future of advanced search, including text mining and data visualisation tools.

ALIA presents "Librarians and Dragons"!
This year we have changed the online forum to the webinar mode. The first webinar for the year is titled: Dyslexia in Reading – What we need to know and will be held via GoToWebinar on Tuesday 8 May 2018 at 7.30pm AEST.
It is essential to build capacity to teach learners with disability as well as to consider one’s teaching context and to understand the characteristics and needs of our learners. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about Dyslexia in reading and how to support students.
