ALIA Tas and Libraries Tasmania Devonport Library invite library and information professionals and students (ALIA members and non-members) to hear Kerrie Blyth and Anne-Marie Loader  report on the  highlights of the Australian Council for Adult Literacy Conference held recently in Melbourne. 
Kerrie will also speak about the process she went through to present a paper.

ALIA CRR (Canberra and Region Retirees) Connect and Chat Event

The next ALIA CRR (Canberra and Region Retirees) Connect and Chat is on Wednesday 3 October from 11am at Bookplate, NLA. All retired Library people from Canberra and the surrounding regions are invited to come along and meet up with fellow retirees. Don't lose touch, join us for coffee or lunch. Visitors from further afield are also most welcome. Aspiring retirees are also very welcome.

Spring at the Australian National Botanic Gardens Library: a tour

The ALIA URLs Group is pleased to invite you all to a tour of the Australian National Botanic Gardens Library by the current librarian, Jane Black.

Come along and see the Library and its collections, and admire the ANBG in the springtime.
