See behind the scenes at SAMHRI (South Australian Medical & Health Research Institute)

The event will be held on Friday 20 June 3.30pm-4.30pm. 

Tour highlights include views of SAHMRI's state of the art laboratories, open plan floors, atrium cafe, plaza area and spiral staircase. There will also be an opportunity to hear directly from one of their leading researchers.

ALIA Urls: Lunch time talk

The ALIA URLs Group ACT is pleased to present a lunchtime talk featuring some free apps and how you can use them in your library and professional lives. Three library staff from Canberra will share some free apps they find useful, and how they use them. The presenters are:


-          Marie-Louise Ayres (National Library of Australia),

-          Adam Bell (Australian War Memorial Library) will talk about Knight Lab timeline

ALIA Top End Library and Information Week Dinner

The Library and Information Week dinner is a great place to meet up with your collages. The event will include the ALIA NT Recognition Award and there will also be a presentation of pins for members who have reached their 25 years of ALIA Membership. 

Cost: $38.00 (please bring money with you on the night)

Coffs Harbour Region - Celebrate Library Week, and National Library Technician’s Day


This will be the 15th year we have shared breakfast to celebrate Library & Information Week.


We have a booking at Coffs Harbour Surf Club, 7.15am and everyone is most welcome.


If you have limited time, just pop in for a coffee, or enjoy a lovely breakfast on the terrace overlooking the beach.

We shall be at Banjo’s Bakery Café, 85 Elizabeth Street, Hobart from 7.00 am.

There is plenty of free parking on Elizabeth and Bathurst Streets.
