At the Northern Territory Library we collect a vast range of materials that document the history and culture of the NT – books, photos, audio, video, maps, newspapers, letters, posters, flyers, diaries, both historical and contemporary, print and digital. We also work closely with the library sector to provide the highest quality library services for all Territorians, from Darwin and Alice Springs to the remotest communities.
We are seeking a strategic and community focused professional with a passion for sharing the Territory’s history and culture to join the Library’s leadership team. The Assistant Director Collections and Engagement leads several teams at our Parliament House site to develop our collections and ensure that our events, exhibitions, visitor experience and education programs are designed to enable communities to connect and engage with Territory Stories in all their forms.
A great opportunity to develop your career at one of the Northern Territory’s most innovative cultural institutions whilst experiencing the lifestyle, culture and natural environment for which the Territory is famous.
