The Library is a key partner in the education and research processes of Griffith University. We are looking for a motivated library professional with excellent communication and collaboration skills to fill the role of Coordinator, Library Researcher Services.
The Coordinator, Library Researcher Services coordinates the development and delivery of the Library’s services for researchers and HDR students. The role supervises and coordinates staff delivering these services to the Griffith research community across our 5 campuses and 6 library locations. Reporting to the Manager, Library Academic Engagement, the role is one of two Coordinator roles overseeing delivery of quality, consistent and relevant library and learning services to the Griffith community.
This is a continuing, full time position which will work across all Griffith University campuses.
You will oversee services to ensure the Library is responsive to the changing needs of the University research community. You will be responsible for operational management of the provision of research services to support data management, metrics, citation impact and engagement to optimise research scholarly impact, as well as maximise the opportunities of new technologies and tools in a changing higher education research environment. You will supervise professional staff and take a lead role in the development of library and learning services for researchers and Higher Degree Research (HDR) students related to research skills, scholarly publishing, communication practices, and data management.
HEW Level 8: $92,909 - $104,520 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $108,704 - $122,289 per annum.
