Dr Sabine Wardle

Dr. Sabine Wardle is a senior lecturer in the School of Social Work and Arts at Charles Sturt University. Sabine has extensive teaching and training experience in vocational education and at the university level. Sabine’s research interests and publications focus on ecological social work, environmental sustainability in social work, social work in public libraries and working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. She is an active member of Charles Sturt University’s Library Research Group and Environment and Social Justice Research Group. Sabine has been invited to present to various national and international organisations and educational institutes. Her presentations remain focussed on the theme of social justice, cultural inclusion, embracing diversity and promoting the role of social workers in health and wellbeing of the communities. Sabine’s current research projects include embracing cultural identity and promoting the role of social workers in regional public libraries.
