As an ALIA Board member, Vicki would like to promote the importance of libraries in Australian society.

Libraries offer services and products that level the intellectual playing field – they are the epitome of access and inclusion principles, ensuring knowledge and technology is available to everyone.

She believes the digital age has made libraries more important than ever and will work to promote responsible digital citizenship and digital literacy to increase the capability of citizens to participate more fully in our society.

She will raise awareness of the relevance and economic value of libraries to help ensure their ongoing future.
