What Paula would like to accomplish as an ALIA Director:

To further the active membership and involvement of Australian people in library services for lifelong learning and community strengthening.

To contribute to the strategic development of the Association and the planning of its activities, and to promote the activities of ALIA to its members.

To encourage innovation, collaboration and sustainable practice, highlighting the need for this in a fiscally competitive environment. 

To increase the resources and leverage of libraries through advocacy and partnership with philanthropic, business and government sectors.
