ALIA in Queensland

Your ALIA QLD State Manager 

My name is James Nicholson and I am your Queensland State Manager for ALIA.  

I currently work at the University of Queensland in the Scholarly Publishing team within the library.  However, I used to work in public libraries and I have a passion for special and school libraries too.  That’s why I’m so grateful to be working for you in this role.  I get to meet a huge range of hard working and interesting information professionals who always have some knowledge to offer that we can all learn from.  I’ll always work hard to represent you to the best of my ability and bring your stories, concerns, ideas, and queries to the wider ALIA community.  

I am here for our members and so should you have any queries, concerns or comments please get in contact with me.  I love to bounce ideas, connect with people and have good conversation, so I very much look forward to meeting you.
