Professional Pathways: Rare Books and Special Collections

Professional Pathways: Rare Books and Special Collections

Event Description

We'd like to invite you to join with your colleagues in rare books and special collections to help design the future structure the future supports for Rare Books Librarianship and Special Collections professions.

As part of ALIA's Professional Pathways Project, ALIA is holding a wide-ranging consultation to help design the framework and future pathways into and through the library and information services sector. Join with ALIA's Trish Hepworth and Phoebe Weston-Evans for a short presentation on the project, the prototype framework and the big questions still to be answered. A short presentation will be followed by Q&A and discussion session.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet with your peers from across library and information sectors to work together on the future of the library and information workforce.

This is a free event.
