INCITE in conversation - February 2022

Join us for a discussion with two public library professionals from Melbourne who are currently involved in creative initiatives to rebuild links with their communities and reinvigorate their library programming after long periods of lockdowns and library closures. Brendan Eichholzer is the Marketing and Communications Manager at Yarra Plenty Regional Library and Titian Brady is the Library IT Coordinator at Kingston Libraries.

Brendan has been involved in the 'Return Yourself to the Library' campaign that is ramping up across Victoria and Titian will tell us more about the 'Short Story Dispenser' initiative that has been winning the hearts of writers and readers, old and young, in the Kingston area.

This session of INCITE in conversation picks up two stories from the January-February issue of INCITE that are based around the theme of fresh starts and new beginnings, and in that light, we wanted to focus on conversations around initiatives that are seizing the opportunity of the end of lockdowns to reconnect with old and new library users in interesting ways.
