Join us for a discussion with librarians, Candis Diaz and Hayley Brown from the Jerzy Toeplitz library at the Australian Film Television and Radio School in Sydney. Candis and Hayley and their team have been working on an initiative ‘Your Space Your Say’ to build trust with their library community and improve their library services in wake of the pandemic.  

The initiative has been coordinated with student services and has already seen many positive outcomes in greater use of the library space and a nine fold increase in reference enquiries. They’ve been holding games and craft days and have rethought the physical and digital library spaces, creating new lounge areas, displays, hosting more screening nights, bringing Indigenous collections into the heart of the library, plus a website redesign and new online resources like libguides, libchat and more.

This session of INCITE in conversation picks up an article from the September/October issue of INCITE magazine, the theme of which was ‘Trust’.
