They’re back..

And so are we. With the second series of The Librarians going to air on August 5th, your very own ALIA ‘The Librarians’ Blog is back on air as well.

Series 1 rated its socks off and was nominated for the international Rose d’Or television awards for Best Sitcom and for Most Outstanding Performance in a Comedy (Robyn Butler) and Most Outstanding Comedy at the AFI Awards.  The Herald Sun and The Age both likened it to The Office. The Age describes Frances O’Brien as “a soul sister to The Office’s squirm-inducing David Brent”. Whether you loved it or hated it, there’s more to come.

This season Christine is facing single motherhood, Frances’ marriage is in deep trouble and Nada is being touted as the N.B.L. (Next Big Librarian). There’s a brand new library featuring a ‘culture pod’ and some very cool design features. So strap yourself in. Series 1 got us talking - let’s keep talking through Series 2.
