ALIA CRR (Canberra and Region Retirees) meets once a month to Connect and Chat. This helps retirees from all sectors of the library world to keep in touch. We meet at Bookplate, National Library of Australia, from 11am on the first Wednesday of the month. All are welcome. Some people come just for coffee and some come for lunch.

Pease join us for the ACT leg of a series of special events that have taken place around Australia, connecting ALIA Members with leaders and influencers in the library and GLAMR sector. This years theme is Indigenous matters.
We would like to invite you to join us for a very special National Simultaneous Storytime event at ALIA House on Wednesday 22 May 2019.
Join the ALIA Board of Directors, members and some very special guest alpacas for a reading of Alpacas with Maracas.
Bring along your children, grandchildren, friends and family. All are welcome! There will be children's craft activities, morning tea and opportunities to interact with the alpacas.

If you are retired from working in the library sector in the ACT or surrounding region come along and catch up with fellow retirees for coffee and/or lunch. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month from 11am and generally finish about 2pm.

A casual networking evening that coincides with the Charles Sturt University study tour visit to Canberra.
The next Connect and Chat event for ALIA CRR (Canberra and Region Retirees) Group will be held from 11am on Wednesday 6 March at Bookplate, NLA.
This is a regular monthly meeting of retired library people from the ACT and surrounding regions to get together and keep in touch post-retirement. Anyone from further afield who is in Canberra on the day is most welcome. This is a very casual and relaxed group, no need to book, come for coffee or lunch or both.
