Recognising that advocacy comes in all shapes and sizes, and what every individual can do to advocate for their profession, is one of the most important messages ALIA members can carry forward.

Sue touches on this month's theme of Copyright and Freedom of Information with a description of the many issues that have arisen this year alone in this very controversial area, and the core values of ALIA. She is also pleased to officially announce that the ALIA 2010 event in Brisbane will be called ALIA Access 2010 and offers a run-down of the many conferences of the past few months.
